About the Role
We are hiring a Remote Sales Development Representative to join our dynamic team at 2U. Our mission is to make learning limitless, and as a Sales Development Representative, you will play a crucial role in generating interest in our educational offerings. This position is fully remote, allowing you to work from anywhere while contributing to our goal of delivering world-class higher education at scale.
What You'll Do
- Generate leads and qualify prospects through targeted outreach efforts.
- Utilize outreach tools, Salesforce, cold calling, and email to create new sales opportunities.
- Identify and understand prospect needs to suggest appropriate products and services.
- Set up meetings or calls between prospective customers and our Business Development Managers.
- Maintain accurate records of all activities and ensure database accuracy.
- Communicate effectively with customers to foster relationships and drive engagement.
- Manage a high volume of leads while maintaining exceptional customer service.
- Work collaboratively with the sales team to meet and exceed sales targets.
Requirements
- 1-2 years of experience in sales or a related field.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple leads and tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency with CRM tools such as Salesforce.
- Creative problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to B2B selling.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on meeting service level agreements (SLAs).
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
