This Remote Regulatory & Product Counsel position is crucial in ensuring our compliance with privacy and regulatory requirements across our innovative products and services.

What You'll Do

• Act as the primary legal advisor for cross-functional teams, providing guidance on privacy and compliance matters.
• Collaborate with engineering, marketing, and growth teams to implement regulatory requirements effectively.
• Review and draft legal documents related to product development and compliance.
• Monitor changes in regulations and assess their impact on our business operations.
• Develop and deliver training on compliance topics to internal stakeholders.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• 2-5 years of experience in regulatory compliance, preferably in the software or technology sector.
• Strong understanding of privacy laws and regulations, including GDPR and CCPA.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Experience with SaaS products and cloud technologies.
• Knowledge of intellectual property law.
• Prior experience in a fast-paced startup environment.
