About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Remote Purchasing Coordinator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing procurement processes, vendor relationships, and inventory control. As a Remote Purchasing Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our organization operates efficiently and effectively.

What You'll Do

• Coordinate purchasing activities and manage purchase orders to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers to negotiate favorable terms and pricing.
• Utilize Yardi Software and ERP systems to track inventory levels and streamline procurement processes.
• Conduct data analysis to identify trends and opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
• Collaborate with various departments to ensure alignment on purchasing needs and priorities.
• Assist in the preparation of proposals and research protocols related to clinical projects.
• Provide exceptional customer service and support to internal stakeholders regarding procurement inquiries.
• Maintain accurate records of purchasing activities and vendor communications.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in purchasing or procurement, preferably in a remote setting.
• Strong negotiation skills and the ability to manage vendor relationships effectively.
• Familiarity with Yardi Software, SAP, or Ariba is highly desirable.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Proficient in data management and analysis.
• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a remote work environment.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and clinical research protocols is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience in healthcare procurement or clinical research.
• Certifications in procurement or supply chain management.
• Familiarity with ICD-10 and CPT coding.
