Remote Operations Manager - LA Market Expansion

About the Role

We're hiring a Remote Operations Manager to lead our expansion efforts in Los Angeles. As a key player in our mission, you'll oversee the launch and growth of our first store, ensuring operational excellence and a top-notch customer experience.

What You'll Do

• Design and execute the full market entry strategy for Blank Street in Los Angeles.
• Build and implement scalable systems for operations, hiring, and team development.
• Recruit, train, and lead a high-performing team of Baristas and Shift Leads.
• Establish the gold standard for customer experience and operational excellence.
• Oversee the financial and operational performance of the store as its General Manager for the first 6–12 months.
• Evolve into a multi-unit Operations Manager as we expand to 7+ stores within the first year.
• Hire and mentor future General Managers, implementing operational playbooks across locations.
• Drive accountability and ensure consistency in performance, culture, and customer experience.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in operations management, preferably in the food and beverage industry.
• Proven track record of launching and scaling operations in a high-growth environment.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to recruit and develop talent.
• Exceptional organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
