About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Remote Medical Coding Auditor to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring compliance with coding guidelines and regulations, while also contributing to the overall quality improvement of our medical documentation processes. What You'll Do

• Conduct thorough audits of medical coding to ensure adherence to ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS guidelines.
• Review and analyze audit reports to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide feedback and training on coding practices.
• Engage in continuous learning and professional development opportunities within the field.
• Contribute to compliance and regulatory adherence by staying updated on healthcare regulations.

Requirements

• 2-5 years of experience in medical coding and auditing.
• AAPC, AHIMA, or CPC certification is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of E/M coding and healthcare regulations.
• Proficiency in EHR/EMR systems and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
