We are seeking a Remote Manager of Technical Writing to lead our talented team at Torc Robotics. What You'll Do

• Manage and lead a team of technical writers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
• Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of various technical documents, including user manuals, tutorials, and operating procedures.
• Work closely with subject matter experts (SMEs) to gather and analyze information for documentation.
• Ensure that all technical content aligns with company standards and meets the needs of the intended audience.
• Develop processes and workflows to enhance the efficiency of the technical writing team.
• Participate in the continuous improvement of documentation practices across the organization.
• Provide mentorship and support to team members, helping them grow their skills and advance their careers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure documentation is integrated into product development.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in technical writing, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Strong understanding of technical concepts related to software and robotics.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency in documentation tools and software.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience with Agile methodologies is a plus.
• Passion for technology and a desire to contribute to innovative projects.
