About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Remote Intake Coordinator to join our dynamic healthcare team. What You'll Do

• Coordinate patient intake processes, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed accurately and efficiently.
• Communicate with patients regarding their intake status, insurance verification, and any additional information needed.
• Maintain detailed records of patient interactions and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure seamless care coordination and address patient inquiries.
• Utilize MS Office and EHR systems to manage patient data and generate reports.
• Participate in quality assurance initiatives to improve patient intake processes and outcomes.
• Assist in training new staff on intake procedures and best practices.
• Analyze data related to patient intake metrics and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.

Requirements

• 2-5 years of experience as an Intake Coordinator or in a similar role within the healthcare industry.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Proficient in MS Office and EHR systems.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare regulations, including HIPAA compliance.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Analytical skills to interpret data and improve processes.
• Experience with case management and patient coordination is a plus.

Nice to Have

• Certification in healthcare management or related field.
• Familiarity with HEDIS and Medicare Stars metrics.
• Experience in a remote work environment.
