Remote Insurance Follow Up Specialist - Outpatient Infusion Therapy

About the Role

We're hiring a Remote Insurance Follow Up Specialist to join our team at IVX Health. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the patient care journey, ensuring that every insurance claim is processed with precision and empathy. This is a full-time remote position that allows you to work from anywhere in the U.S., with the option to work hybrid if you're local to our Brentwood, TN office.

What You'll Do

• Investigate and resolve insurance claim denials efficiently, handling typically 50 to 100 denials daily.
• Partner with payers to resolve issues and secure timely reimbursement for outpatient infusion therapy services.
• Interpret Local Coverage Determination (LCD) and National Coverage Determination (NCD) requirements to manage CPT/HCPCS-related denials.
• Coordinate with front desk and authorization teams to reduce delays and optimize collections.
• Provide exceptional phone support to patients and insurance representatives, ensuring clarity and understanding in all communications.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in insurance follow-up or a related field.
• Strong understanding of medical billing, coding, and insurance processes.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
• Proficiency in using billing software and electronic health records (EHR).
