What You'll Do
- Develop and implement next-generation security controls for GenAI systems, ensuring robust protection against vulnerabilities.
- Build and operate security controls for applications and platforms, including guardrails for model usage and API integrations.
- Secure workflows to prevent tool abuse and data exfiltration, enhancing the integrity of our AI applications.
- Lead AI threat modeling and risk assessments, maintaining threat models and driving mitigations for various risks.
- Define secure-by-default reference architectures for cloud-native and hybrid GenAI workloads, focusing on network isolation and secrets handling.
- Continuously improve monitoring and detection for anomalous AI behavior and unsafe outputs.
- Lead incident response and remediation for security events involving AI applications and data breaches.
- Translate policy and regulatory requirements into actionable implementations, ensuring compliance and governance.
- Act as the GenAI security Subject Matter Expert (SME) with internal teams, staying current on evolving threats.
Requirements
- 6+ years of software engineering experience with strong coding skills in languages such as Python, Go, or Java.
- Proven experience in developing security controls for AI systems.
- Strong understanding of cloud architectures and security best practices.
- Experience with incident response and risk management in AI applications.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
Nice to Have
- Experience with generative AI technologies and their security implications.
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance frameworks related to AI.
- Certifications in security (e.g., CISSP, CISM) are a plus.
