Remote Finance Expert - Cryptocurrency Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a Remote Finance Expert in Cryptocurrency to join our innovative team at xAI. In this role, you will play a crucial part in enhancing our frontier AI models by providing high-quality annotations, evaluations, and expert reasoning using proprietary labeling tools. Your expertise will significantly impact the development of AI tasks related to cryptocurrency and digital asset markets.

What You'll Do

• Collaborate closely with technical teams to support the creation and refinement of new AI tasks focused on cryptocurrency.
• Utilize your deep domain knowledge to guide the selection and rigorous solving of complex problems in quantitative crypto strategies.
• Conduct on-chain analysis, assess DeFi protocols, and engage in perpetual futures & derivatives trading.
• Implement cross-exchange arbitrage strategies and analyze market microstructure in fragmented venues.
• Develop MEV-aware execution strategies and leverage machine learning for crypto alpha signals.
• Manage portfolio and risk in high-volatility 24/7 markets, ensuring precise and technically robust critiques and solutions.
• Adapt quickly to evolving instructions and deliver results in a dynamic environment.

Requirements

• Proven experience in finance, particularly within the cryptocurrency sector.
• Strong quantitative thinking skills and the ability to analyze complex data sets.
• Experience with DeFi protocols and derivatives trading.
• Familiarity with machine learning applications in finance.
• Excellent communication skills, able to share knowledge concisely and accurately with teammates.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative in a flat organizational structure.
• Strong prioritization skills and a solid work ethic.

Nice to Have
