Remote DevOps Engineer - Multi-Cloud Infrastructure

About the Role

We are looking for a Remote DevOps Engineer to join our rapidly growing team at Collective. As a Remote DevOps Engineer, you will play a crucial role in strengthening our infrastructure team by designing, deploying, and maintaining a scalable infrastructure on Kubernetes across multi-cloud environments. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where your contributions will directly impact our growth and success.

What You'll Do

  • Design, deploy, and maintain scalable infrastructure using Kubernetes and multi-cloud solutions.
  • Manage infrastructure-as-code with Terraform and Ansible to ensure efficient deployment processes.
  • Implement and optimize CI/CD pipelines to enhance our development workflow.
  • Develop and maintain a robust monitoring and observability ecosystem using tools like Grafana, Loki, Prometheus, Alloy, and Periscope.
  • Analyze network protocols, routing, and traffic to troubleshoot large-scale issues effectively.
  • Ensure high availability, fault tolerance, and performance of services across our infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with developers to containerize and deploy new services seamlessly.
  • Participate in incident management and continuous improvement processes to enhance our operational efficiency.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or Infrastructure roles.
  • Strong expertise in Kubernetes in production environments, ideally across multiple regions.
  • Excellent networking knowledge, including TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, load balancers, and firewalls.
  • Experience with monitoring and observability tools is essential.
  • Proficiency in Terraform, Ansible, and CI/CD tools.
  • Cloud skills with OVH, AWS, or GCP are a plus.
  • Analytical mindset with strong automation skills and the ability to work autonomously in a distributed team.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with large-scale infrastructure management.
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies.
  • Knowledge of security best practices in cloud environments.
