Remote Dentist - Deliver Comprehensive Care

About the Role

We are seeking a Remote Dentist to join our team at Akicita Federal, LLC. This unique opportunity allows you to provide essential dental services remotely, focusing on comprehensive care for a diverse patient population. As a Remote Dentist, you will deliver routine, emergency, and specialty treatments while ensuring adherence to safety and infection control standards.

What You'll Do

• Provide comprehensive dental services including exams, restorative treatments, oral health education, and preventive care.
• Diagnose and treat patients within your professional scope and IHS standards.
• Assist in patient care processes, ensuring adherence to safety, infection control, and IHS standards.
• Complete and maintain patient records in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) and Electronic Dental Record (EDR).
• Participate in quality assurance activities and adhere to IHS and service unit policies.

Requirements

• DMD or DDS from a CODA-accredited institution.
• Unrestricted any state dental license.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in general dentistry.
• Background check and character investigation as per the Indian Child Protection and Family Violence Prevention Act.

• Experience working with diverse populations and cross-cultural sensitivity.
• Ability to work effectively through interpreters when necessary.
• Experience in quality assurance activities.
