About the Role

We are seeking a talented Remote Data Engineer to join our dynamic team at Trella Health. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in data engineering to support our healthcare analytics initiatives. What You'll Do

  • Design and implement robust data pipelines using Apache Spark and SQL to process large datasets efficiently.
  • Collaborate with data scientists and healthcare professionals to understand data requirements and deliver high-quality data solutions.
  • Ensure data governance and compliance with healthcare regulations while managing data integrity and security.
  • Utilize Azure and cloud computing technologies to optimize data storage and retrieval processes.
  • Participate in data modeling and warehousing projects to enhance data accessibility and usability.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in Python, SQL, and Apache Spark.
  • Experience with data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing.
  • Familiarity with healthcare domain knowledge and data governance practices.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with PySpark and Databricks.
  • Knowledge of Machine Learning concepts and model development.
  • Familiarity with ClickHouse and other data exploration tools.
