Remote Commercial P&C Support Representative - Insurtech
About the Role
We are hiring a Remote Commercial P&C Support Representative to join our team at Thimble, a leading insurtech platform dedicated to providing small businesses with tailored insurance solutions. In this role, you will play a crucial part in assisting brokers with sales support, onboarding, and maintaining ongoing relationships. As a Remote Commercial P&C Support Representative, you will help drive results for our broker team, ensuring they effectively adopt our products and services.
What You'll Do
- Become an expert with Thimble’s products and services, acting as the front line between brokers and our company.
- Provide timely, solution-oriented responses to brokers' business needs, ensuring excellent support through a high volume of tickets and chats.
- Support the onboarding process for new brokers while delivering exceptional customer service.
- Guide brokers on best practices for utilizing the Thimble Broker Portal to enhance their experience.
- Collaborate with Customer Success and the Insurance team to ensure compliance and alignment across teams.
- Provide feedback on broker and user experiences to improve our services continuously.
Requirements
- A Property & Casualty Insurance license is required.
- Commercial insurance experience is necessary, with a preference for small commercial business insurance experience.
- Prior experience working with insurance brokers or agencies is essential.
- Experience in a fast-paced, high-volume support or customer service environment.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills are a must.
- Highly organized with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to adapt to changes and learn quickly in a dynamic environment.
- A bachelor’s degree is preferred.
Nice to Have
- Experience with software tools such as Zendesk, Omni, and Jira.
- Familiarity with the insurance industry and its regulations.

Who Will Succeed Here

Possesses a strong understanding of insurance policies and regulatory requirements, with the ability to educate brokers on complex insurance products and processes.
