About the Role

We are looking for a Remote Cloud Engineer to join Accenture Federal Services, where nothing matters more than helping the US federal government enhance national security and improve lives through technology. As a Remote Cloud Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in delivering secure cloud platform implementations that support government customers. This position focuses on designing, implementing, and managing enterprise-scale cloud infrastructure in classified and sensitive environments.

What You'll Do

  • Design and implement secure, scalable cloud architectures across multiple platforms based on established best practices.
  • Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code for consistent, repeatable deployments.
  • Implement DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines for rapid, reliable delivery.
  • Configure and optimize cloud security controls and compliance measures.
  • Design cloud-native disaster recovery, backup, and business continuity solutions.
  • Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues and implement performance optimizations.
  • Operate within an Agile framework - participate in sprints, standups, retrospectives, and planning sessions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in fast-paced development cycles.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience as a Cloud Engineer or similar role.
  • Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Strong understanding of security controls and compliance in cloud environments.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools and DevOps practices.
  • Ability to work independently and make technical decisions autonomously.

Nice to Have

  • Certifications in cloud technologies (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect).
  • Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python or Bash.
