Regional Sales Director - Medical Device Sales (Remote)

About the Role

We are seeking a Regional Sales Director to lead our Interventional Oncology & Embolization (IOE) division at Boston Scientific. This remote position offers you the chance to harness your leadership skills and drive growth in a high-potential region. You will work with a diverse team dedicated to tackling significant health industry challenges.

What You'll Do

  • Integrate individual territory plans into a broader regional sales strategy while coaching the sales team.
  • Prepare quarterly sales forecasts and participate in market potential and budget planning.
  • Monitor regional sales performance and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Lead the development and execution of regional targeting strategies to drive aggressive sales growth.
  • Build strong relationships with economic buyers and decision-makers in key accounts.
  • Maintain market and competitor intelligence by engaging with physicians, suppliers, and industry stakeholders.
  • Support contract negotiations and guide teams through challenging economic situations.
  • Spend a minimum of 70% of your time in the field to support sales rep development and customer relationships.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (advanced degree preferred).
  • Minimum of 5 years’ related experience in medical device sales.
  • Proven record of success in sales leadership within the medical device industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to launch new, differentiated products and drive adoption.
  • Willingness and ability to travel several days/nights per week.

Nice to Have

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the medical device industry.
  • Experience managing Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and clinical influencers.
  • Proven ability to sell economic value to hospitals and integrated delivery networks (IDNs).
