About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Reception Manager to join our team at Heacham Manor Hotel. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the reception and guest services, ensuring that all guests receive an outstanding level of customer service. As a Reception Manager, you will play a crucial role in creating a warm and welcoming environment for our guests while managing the reception team effectively.

What You'll Do

• Lead and manage the reception team to ensure exceptional customer service is delivered consistently.
• Conduct regular inspections of communal areas to maintain high presentation standards.
• Prepare for guest arrivals and ensure a smooth check-in process.
• Handle customer queries and complaints efficiently to restore satisfaction.
• Create and implement customer service procedures for the reception team.
• Manage team schedules and payroll in accordance with company policies.
• Monitor departmental budgets and ensure maximum profitability.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and data protection laws.

Requirements

• Proven managerial or supervisory experience in a hospitality setting.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Full valid UK driving license.
• Passion for providing exceptional customer service.
• Experience in a family business or hospitality background is desirable.
