Quant Developer - Wealth Management (Remote)

About the Role

We are seeking a talented Quant Developer - Wealth Management (Remote) to join our innovative team at Scalable GmbH. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and fully automating a systematic wealth manager (robo advisor) that oversees several billion euros in assets under management (AuM). You will leverage advanced multi-asset investment strategies and productionize algorithmic models that autonomously react to client requests and market movements. This position offers a unique opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology in a fast-paced environment.

What You'll Do

• Develop hands-on in Python alongside a highly motivated team of software engineers and quant developers, driving transformative changes in the financial industry.
• Work with modern software development practices, including agile methodologies, continuous integration and deployment, and test automation.
• Architect and deploy interfaces connecting the Scalable Capital Robo with key internal services to establish seamless connectivity with the external world.
• Fully automate trading algorithms driven by quantitative evidence that autonomously manage billions in assets.
• Collaborate with various stakeholders, including the tax core team, investment managers, traders, and wealth managers.

Requirements

• Excellent university degree in computer science, mathematics, natural sciences, or a similar field.
• Solid working knowledge of capital taxation basics.
• Experience with econometrics, portfolio optimization, and risk modeling.
• Proficiency in Python and familiarity with libraries such as cvxpy, scipy, or cvxopt.
• Interest in our tech stack: Docker, CI/CD pipelines, serverless architecture, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), and relational databases/SQL.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
• Proactive and independent working style with good time management skills.

• Experience with cloud providers like AWS.
