QA Automation Engineer - Remote Position

About the Role

We are seeking a talented QA Automation Engineer to join our team in a fully remote capacity. As a QA Automation Engineer remote position, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality of our software applications and services. You will work closely with development teams, contributing to the overall success of our projects while adhering to CET/Vienna working hours.

What You'll Do

• Act as the QA focal point between development teams and QA stakeholders.
• Design, create, execute, and maintain both manual and automated test cases and test plans.
• Support the software development lifecycle and release validation processes.
• Contribute to test automation frameworks and quality assurance strategies.
• Participate in requirements analysis, system design, and QA processes.
• Produce technical documentation, including test cases, user stories, and reports.
• Communicate testing results and prepare QA reports and documentation.
• Ensure alignment with QA standards and continuously improve QA practices.
• Stay updated with the latest QA tools, methodologies, and industry trends.

Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in software QA within medium to large development teams.
• Experience with test automation frameworks and automated testing suites.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies (SCRUM) and release testing.
• Test management and integration experience with tools like Azure DevOps.
• UI test automation experience using Selenium with C#/.NET.
• 1+ year of experience with Git (branching strategies, pull requests).

Nice to Have

• Experience writing test cases using Gherkin syntax (BDD).
• Experience in Prince2-based project environments.
• Experience testing applications hosted in Cloud platforms (Azure or AWS).
