QA Automation Engineer - Remote Opportunities with Relocation Support

About the Role

We are seeking a talented QA Automation Engineer to join our dynamic team at Codifin. This QA Automation Engineer remote position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a hybrid environment in Guadalajara, Mexico, with relocation support available. As a key member of our team, you will design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using tools like Playwright or Cypress.

What You'll Do

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright or Cypress.
• Perform end-to-end manual testing for new features, bug fixes, and regressions.
• Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and fellow QA engineers.
• Identify, document, and track defects through resolution.
• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test data.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Advocate for quality and drive continuous improvement.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance with a strong background in manual and automated testing.
• Hands-on expertise with Playwright or Cypress.
• Proficient in JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python.
• Solid understanding of testing methodologies, SDLC, and Agile practices.
• Experience with API testing tools such as Postman or similar.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or equivalent.

Nice to Have

• Experience with performance or security testing.
• Exposure to Docker or cloud environments (Azure).
• Working knowledge of TestRail, Jira, or similar tools.
