About the Role
We are looking for a Python Software Engineer remote to join Bluetab, an IBM Company, known for being a Great Place to Work and a leader in data, cloud, machine learning, and artificial intelligence. As a Python Software Engineer remote, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing strategies for key companies across various sectors, leveraging cutting-edge technologies in a dynamic environment.
What You'll Do
- Develop scalable and efficient back-end solutions using Python and frameworks such as Django and Flask.
- Work with Kubernetes (preferably AKS) to manage containerized applications.
- Implement DevOps practices, utilizing Docker for containerization and deployment.
- Design and create robust APIs to facilitate seamless communication between services.
- Engage with cloud environments, particularly Azure, to enhance application performance and scalability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality software delivery.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
- Maintain and optimize SQL databases, including MySQL and Oracle.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Python Software Engineer remote or similar role.
- Strong proficiency in Python and experience with Django and Flask.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes and Azure services.
- Experience with DevOps practices and tools.
- Solid understanding of API development and management.
- Proficient in SQL databases, especially MySQL and Oracle.
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to work effectively in a remote team environment.
Nice to Have
- Experience with cloud-native application development.
- Knowledge of machine learning frameworks.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
