About the Role

We are looking for a Python Software Engineer remote to join Bluetab, an IBM Company, known for being a Great Place to Work and a leader in data, cloud, machine learning, and artificial intelligence. As a Python Software Engineer remote, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing strategies for key companies across various sectors, leveraging cutting-edge technologies in a dynamic environment.

What You'll Do

  • Develop scalable and efficient back-end solutions using Python and frameworks such as Django and Flask.
  • Work with Kubernetes (preferably AKS) to manage containerized applications.
  • Implement DevOps practices, utilizing Docker for containerization and deployment.
  • Design and create robust APIs to facilitate seamless communication between services.
  • Engage with cloud environments, particularly Azure, to enhance application performance and scalability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality software delivery.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
  • Maintain and optimize SQL databases, including MySQL and Oracle.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Python Software Engineer remote or similar role.
  • Strong proficiency in Python and experience with Django and Flask.
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes and Azure services.
  • Experience with DevOps practices and tools.
  • Solid understanding of API development and management.
  • Proficient in SQL databases, especially MySQL and Oracle.
  • Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to work effectively in a remote team environment.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with cloud-native application development.
  • Knowledge of machine learning frameworks.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
