Project Manager Engineering - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Project Manager Engineering to join our team at Comet Group, focusing on innovative solutions in the Industrial X-Ray Modules division. This role offers a unique opportunity to work remotely while leading projects that contribute to safer and more efficient production technologies.

What You'll Do

• Lead industrialization efforts within a matrix organization, emphasizing Supply Chain & Operations.
• Drive the industrialization of products from conception to serial production while ensuring compliance with production and SCM specifications.
• Develop and implement comprehensive production concepts, including ramp-up planning and capacity/asset requirement analyses.
• Manage SAP master data, including production documentation, BOMs, and routings.
• Lead product and process optimization initiatives, utilizing quality methods such as PFMEA and PPAP.

Requirements

• A university degree in Mechanical Engineering or a comparable technical discipline.
• At least 5 years of experience in project management within an industrial environment.
• Solid understanding of production processes and Supply Chain & Operations structures; experience with SAP is a plus.
• High flexibility combined with a strong drive and execution focus.
• Fluency in German and English with excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience in the development of X-ray technologies.
• Knowledge of international project management standards.
• Familiarity with agile project management methodologies.
