Project Manager - Civil Engineering (Remote)

About the Role

We are seeking a Project Manager - Civil Engineering (Remote) to join our team at Autobahn GmbH. In this role, you will oversee the management of civil engineering projects, focusing on road construction and infrastructure development. You will lead projects from inception to completion, ensuring they meet quality standards and are delivered on time and within budget.

What You'll Do

• Take full responsibility for project management of new construction, expansion, and maintenance measures of transport facilities.
• Conduct comprehensive project management and control in close coordination with department leadership.
• Implement cross-disciplinary scheduling and cost control, as well as quality and risk management.
• Manage external engineering offices and handle engineering contracts, including contract design, preparation for awarding, and invoice verification.
• Prepare construction sites and provide local construction management for complex construction projects such as expansions, renovations, and maintenance measures.
• Conduct procurement procedures and manage contract amendments.

Requirements

• Successfully completed scientific university degree (Master's / Dipl.-Ing. Univ.) in civil engineering with a focus on road construction or equivalent qualifications acquired through professional experience.
• Expertise in road construction and BIM methods, including relevant laws from construction, planning, and procurement law.
• Proficient knowledge of relevant technical standards and regulations, such as HOAI, VOB, HVA-B-StB, HVA-F-StB.
• Strong IT skills in MS Office and familiarity with billing programs like iTWO.
• Fluent in German at C1 level.
• Valid driver's license (Class B).
