About the Role

We are seeking a Project Leader for Enterprise Planning and Reporting to join our team at Los Alamos National Laboratory. This remote Project Leader position will allow you to manage complex projects while contributing to national security initiatives. You will play a critical role in establishing robust reporting structures and implementing efficient processes for data collection and analysis.

What You'll Do

  • Manage all aspects of moderately complex projects related to technical scope within the Production Agency.
  • Oversee mid-sized project teams in planning, tracking, and executing project plans from initiation to completion.
  • Monitor performance and manage project scope, schedule, budget, and baselines under change control.
  • Develop and provide information and graphics needed to report project status to senior managers.
  • Utilize your leadership skills to guide multidisciplinary project teams and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  • Transform complex scientific data into visual tools for quicker insights and effective communication.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field with at least 8 years of directly related experience.
  • Proven ability to communicate technical information clearly and concisely to meet stakeholder needs.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and experience overseeing large complex scientific or engineering projects.
  • Strong organizational skills with a high attention to detail and analytical thinking.
  • Experience in stakeholder management and building trust across various levels of personnel.
  • Expertise in project management, including developing project plans and managing budgets.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with data visualization software and systems.
  • Familiarity with nuclear facility operations or national security missions.
  • Experience in professional management of discrete projects or program portfolios.
