What You'll Do
- Assist in furnace operations, including scrap management and material movement.
- Support pouring and production teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Operate forklifts or heavy equipment once trained.
- Move materials and finished products efficiently.
- Monitor equipment and production processes for quality assurance.
- Maintain clean and safe work areas, adhering to safety procedures at all times.
- Collaborate closely with Leads and Foremen to meet daily production goals.
- Receive flame-resistant gear when assigned to furnace support.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Comfortable working in varying temperatures and around heavy equipment.
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs and remain on your feet for extended periods.
- Strong attendance and reliability are crucial.
- Willingness to learn different areas of the plant.
Nice to Have
- Forklift experience (training provided if needed).
- Previous manufacturing or industrial experience.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish.
