Product Owner - B2B FinTech Solutions

About the Role

We are seeking a talented Product Owner to join Paymenttools and lead our B2B FinTech solutions. As a Product Owner, you will play a crucial role in shaping the vision and strategy for our innovative payment solutions. This is a fantastic opportunity to work remotely and make a significant impact on the payment landscape for merchants across Europe.

What You'll Do

• Define and drive the vision, strategy, and roadmap for your product area as a Product Owner.
• Translate business requirements into well-defined product outcomes and user stories.
• Collaborate closely with architects and developers to ensure scalable and secure solutions that align with our technical strategy.
• Prioritize and manage a transparent product backlog focused on impact and feasibility.
• Communicate product decisions clearly to stakeholders at all levels, from executives to developers and merchants.
• Advocate for an exceptional user experience by working closely with UX/UI designers to ensure the product is intuitive and meets the needs of diverse merchant users.
• Integrate user research, usability testing, and feedback loops into the product development process to validate and iteratively improve design decisions.

Requirements

• Several years of experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager in a B2B or FinTech environment (ideally).
• Ability to effectively manage both strategic and operational product work.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, particularly in cross-functional setups.
• A structured, data-driven approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and close collaboration with development teams.
• A solid understanding of UX/UI principles and proven experience working closely with designers to develop user-centered products.
• Ability to analyze and critically evaluate wireframes, prototypes, and user flows with a product-oriented mindset.
• Experience with Design Thinking, User Journey Mapping, or similar frameworks is a plus.

Nice to Have

• Experience in the payment solutions industry.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements in the FinTech space.
