Product Manager - Finance Core Systems

About the Role

We are seeking a Product Manager - Finance Core Systems to join Ashley Furniture Industries, the largest furniture manufacturer in the world. This role is critical as it focuses on the financial systems that power our global operations. Although this position is on-site in Arcadia, WI, it offers a unique opportunity to shape the financial landscape of a major player in the furniture industry.

What You'll Do

  • Own the product vision and roadmap for Ashley’s core Finance ERP and surrounding platforms, ensuring they support multi-entity, multi-currency, and intercompany accounting.
  • Partner with Finance to enhance financial close processes, controls, and audit readiness, aligning with SOX and internal control requirements.
  • Drive integration of manufacturing, supply chain, and retail operations into a cohesive financial system of record.
  • Lead product strategy for operational finance systems, overseeing invoicing, billing, credit, collections, and pricing engines.
  • Collaborate with FP&A to enhance planning platforms, enabling financial consolidation and management reporting across multiple business units.
  • Define and drive an API-first integration strategy for finance systems, supporting batch-based integrations where necessary.
  • Ensure alignment of finance data models with enterprise data standards, partnering with Data & Analytics teams for effective reporting.
  • Own the product roadmap for finance platforms, managing the product backlog and ensuring timely, high-quality releases.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • 10+ years of product management or business systems ownership experience, with at least 5 years focused on finance systems.
  • Proven track record in delivering and scaling enterprise-level financial platforms in manufacturing or retail environments.
  • Hands-on experience with major ERP finance platforms such as SAP S/4HANA, Oracle Fusion, or Dynamics 365 Finance.
  • Strong product management fundamentals and a data-driven mindset, with experience using BI/analytics tools for decision-making.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with integration technologies and automation tools.
  • Familiarity with payroll and benefits systems, expense management, and document management.
