Product Designer - Payroll Experience (Hybrid)

About the Role

We're hiring a Product Designer - Payroll Experience to join our innovative team at BambooHR. This hybrid role, based in Utah, requires some regular in-office days each week. As a Product Designer, you will play a crucial role in designing user-friendly interfaces and enhancing the overall user experience of our payroll products. You will leverage AI tools to streamline workflows and enhance product usability, ensuring that our offerings are not only functional but also delightful to use.

What You'll Do

• Define, test, and iterate on the interaction design of new and existing features, including user flows, detailed product wireframes, and prototypes.
• Experiment with AI tools and techniques within the design process to accelerate discovery, ideation, prototyping, and usability testing.
• Conduct user research to guide product design decisions through contextual inquiry, usability testing, and competitive analysis.
• Design beautiful visual UI that adheres to our design standards, creating detailed high-resolution screen mockups.
• Collaborate with development scrum teams to ensure pixel-perfect execution of designs.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of product-based UX design experience working on complex desktop, web, and/or mobile software applications.
• A proven track record of designing successful SaaS-based software products from initial research and discovery to product launch and ongoing improvements.
• A strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in user research, information architecture, interaction design, prototyping/testing, and visual UI design.
• Experience with AI-assisted features or a strong curiosity about applying emerging technologies to solve real customer problems.
• Excellent collaboration skills to work effectively with product managers, designers, and developers.

Nice to Have

• Experience presenting design ideas and concepts to stakeholders and customers.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality and deadlines.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and working in a scrum environment.
