Product Designer - Cloud Services (Remote Opportunity)

About the Role

We are seeking a talented Product Designer to join our dynamic team in Japan. This Product Designer remote position offers a unique opportunity to work with a global team, focusing on product design for our innovative cloud services. You will play a crucial role in enhancing user experiences (UX) and user interfaces (UI) while collaborating with Product Managers and engineers to develop new products and services.

What You'll Do

• Design and develop user-friendly interfaces for our cloud services across both PC and mobile platforms.
• Collaborate closely with Product Managers to review requirements and support various design activities.
• Conduct user research and prototyping in partnership with researchers to ensure the best user experience.
• Work alongside engineers on specifications and UI reviews, assisting with implementation.
• Engage in product development activities that extend beyond traditional design boundaries.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of practical experience in team-based development projects.
• Alignment with our company philosophy and a keen interest in Cybozu products.
• Business-level proficiency in Japanese (N2) and English.
• Experience in developing customizations and plugins for kintone or Garoon is a plus.
• Consulting experience in IT projects or system development.
• Project management experience and software planning/development background.
• Practical web development experience (TypeScript, React, etc.) is preferred.

Nice to Have

• Experience in conducting user research and usability testing.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and design thinking.
• Strong portfolio showcasing your product design work.
