Product Design Intern - Remote Opportunity at 1Password

About the Role

As a Product Design Intern at 1Password, you will have the unique opportunity to work in a remote setting, collaborating with various teams to help users uncover the value of our product. This Product Design Intern - remote position is designed for the Summer of 2026, and you will receive mentorship from experienced designers throughout your internship.

What You'll Do

• Collaborate with Product Designers, Content Designers, Product Managers, UX Researchers, and Software Developers to create innovative design solutions.
• Develop prototypes and detailed feature specifications using Figma, a key tool for our design process.
• Gather and incorporate feedback on your design work to ensure it meets user needs and expectations.
• Conduct user research to gather valuable feedback from customers, enhancing the user experience.
• Participate in weekly critique sessions to refine your design skills and receive constructive feedback.
• Embrace challenges and seek innovative solutions that contribute to a safer digital future.
• Engage in peer-to-peer recognition and social events to foster a collaborative team culture.
• Demonstrate confidence in taking on new challenges, humility in learning from mistakes, and curiosity for improving processes.

Requirements

• Familiarity with Figma and design systems is a bonus.
• Experience with user research is a bonus.
• A teamwork-oriented mindset is essential for success in this role.
• Must be available for a 4-month internship starting Summer 2026.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members.
