About the Role

We are seeking a Procurement Manager (Remote) to lead Galaxy’s owner-furnished procurement program for large-scale data center development. In this role, you will be accountable for planning, sourcing, contracting, and managing delivery for long-lead equipment and technical service packages that directly impact critical-path project schedules. You will partner closely with Construction, Project Management, Operations, Engineering, and Finance to ensure that Galaxy procures the right materials and services at the right time, with the right commercial terms—delivering outcomes better, faster, and cheaper.

What You'll Do

  • Collaborate with Engineering, Project Management, and Operations to define early procurement requirements for OFCI equipment and service packages.
  • Develop category and sourcing strategies aligned to schedule risk, cost drivers, and technical requirements.
  • Translate technical specifications into clear scopes of work, commercial requirements, and procurement schedules.
  • Lead vendor prequalification, competitive sourcing events, and RFP/RFQ development for long-lead equipment and construction-adjacent service packages.
  • Manage bid processes, analyze commercial and technical proposals, and perform total cost of ownership evaluations.
  • Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, risk allocations, and commercial terms that support project objectives.
  • Support contract drafting and terms negotiation in partnership with Legal and technical stakeholders.
  • Monitor production, logistics, and delivery of long-lead equipment, proactively identifying risks to cost or schedule.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Integrated Supply Chain Management, Procurement Business, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of procurement experience supporting hyperscale, hardware, energy, utilities, industrial, or mission-critical construction projects.
  • Experience purchasing long-lead equipment or complex construction service packages.
  • Demonstrated ability to negotiate complex technical and schedule-critical contracts.
  • Strong understanding of procurement best practices, including competitive sourcing, bid evaluation, supplier performance metrics, and RFP development.

Nice to Have

  • Experience leveraging procure-to-pay systems such as Ramp, Workday, Coupa, or SAP Ariba.
  • Professional certifications (ASCM, CSCP, PMP, or similar).

What We Offer

  • Competitive base salary and discretionary bonus.
  • Flexible Time Off (i.e., unlimited paid vacation days).
  • Company paid Holidays (11).
  • Company paid sick leave.
  • Company-paid health and protective benefits for employees, partners, and other dependents.
  • 3% 401(k) company contribution.
  • Generous paid Parental Leave.
  • Free virtual coaching and counseling sessions through Headspace.
