About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Primary Teacher to join our team in a remote capacity. As a Primary Teacher, you will play a crucial role in shaping the educational journey of young learners. You will be responsible for planning, teaching, and assessing students in accordance with the Northern Ireland Curriculum. What You'll Do

  • Maintain discipline and a safe learning environment in accordance with school policies.
  • Contribute to the development and management of curriculum activities and resources.
  • Engage in continuous professional development to stay updated with educational best practices.

Requirements

  • Hold a recognized teaching qualification for primary education in Northern Ireland.
  • Minimum of 2 years of paid teaching experience in a primary school setting.
  • Demonstrable experience using effective classroom strategies to support diverse learners.
  • Knowledge of the Northern Ireland Curriculum and current assessment methods.
  • Ability to utilize digital media and technology to enhance teaching and learning.
  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to inspire and motivate students.
  • Excellent communication skills for engaging with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Registration with the General Teaching Council for Northern Ireland (GTCNI) is required.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in monitoring pupil progress and performance.
  • Experience in coordinating curriculum areas or leading specific educational initiatives.
  • Experience teaching in withdrawal groups to support targeted learning.
