About the Role

We are seeking a talented PLC Software Engineer - Thermal Projects - Remote to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing innovative solutions for thermal projects in the sustainable energy sector. As a PLC Software Engineer, you will work with cutting-edge technologies and contribute to projects that have a significant impact on energy efficiency and sustainability.

What You'll Do

  • Design and develop PLC software for thermal systems, ensuring high performance and reliability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate software solutions with hardware components.
  • Conduct thermal analysis and simulations to optimize system performance.
  • Implement SCADA systems and HMI interfaces for effective monitoring and control.
  • Participate in project management activities, ensuring timely delivery of software components.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience as a PLC Software Engineer, preferably in thermal projects.
  • Proficiency in Siemens S7, TIA Portal, and other PLC programming environments.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical engineering principles and mechatronics.
  • Experience with programming languages such as C++, Python, and GO.
  • Familiarity with PID loop tuning and sensor integration.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with OT security and software craftsmanship.
  • Knowledge of Typescript and Swift/SwiftUI.
  • Project management certification.
