About the Role

We're hiring a Platform Engineer (Kubernetes) to join our innovative team at BairesDev. As a Platform Engineer, you will play a crucial role in building and maintaining robust Kubernetes-based internal platforms. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Platform Engineer (Kubernetes) remote position, where you will bridge the gap between infrastructure and development, enabling teams to deploy and scale applications seamlessly.

What You'll Do

• Design, implement, and manage production-grade Kubernetes clusters across multiple environments.
• Develop and maintain Helm charts and templates for standardized application deployment and configuration.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and lifecycle management using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Implement and optimize GitOps-based continuous delivery workflows using tools like ArgoCD.
• Collaborate with development teams to define platform standards, resource requirements, and scaling strategies.
• Ensure platform reliability, security, and performance through proactive monitoring and automated self-healing.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps, or Site Reliability Engineering.
• Proven expertise in designing and managing production-grade Kubernetes clusters.
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools, specifically Terraform and Helm.
• Hands-on experience implementing GitOps workflows using tools like ArgoCD.
• Deep understanding of Linux systems, container networking, and cloud-native security.
• Strong background in building and maintaining internal developer platforms at scale.

Nice to Have

• Experience with cloud providers such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools like Prometheus or Grafana.
