About the Role

We are seeking a People Operations Partner (POP) remote to join the Ethereum Foundation, a global non-profit organization dedicated to supporting the Ethereum ecosystem. In this role, you will be a trusted partner to our teams, guiding them through people decisions and enhancing team health through effective coaching and conflict resolution.

What You'll Do

  • Collaborate with team leads on organizational design, team health, and compensation strategies.
  • Coach and influence team leads on best people management practices, even without direct authority.
  • Manage employee relations topics from start to finish, working closely with the Legal team when necessary.
  • Design and implement consistent performance and compensation processes.
  • Enhance work relationships and morale, while increasing productivity and retention across teams.
  • Identify patterns in team dynamics and propose effective interventions.
  • Proactively address areas needing improvement in collaboration with People Ops.
  • Deliver timely responses to organizational issues and build strong relationships with management.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in generalist People Ops roles.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to new environments and processes.
  • Comfort with ambiguity and ability to create effective processes.
  • Strong communication skills to build trust with technical teams and leaders.
  • Proven coaching capabilities and ability to influence without direct authority.
  • Demonstrated conflict resolution skills, including facilitation and mediation.
  • Strong judgment and discretion with sensitive information.
  • Working knowledge of employee relations fundamentals across multiple regions.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in distributed teams or open-source communities.
  • Experience leading cross-functional People Ops projects.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience in building HR metrics.
