About the Role

We're hiring a People Operations Manager to join our team at RoboForce, an innovative AI robotics company. This role is pivotal as it involves managing the entire employee lifecycle, including onboarding, compensation, performance management, and compliance. As a People Operations Manager, you will have a significant impact on our company culture and employee experience.

What You'll Do

  • Own and steward all core People Operations functions, including onboarding, compensation, benefits, performance management, compliance, and offboarding.
  • Set and maintain people policies and practices that are pragmatic, compliant, and stage-appropriate.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to founders and senior leaders on organizational design and people strategy.
  • Manage compensation frameworks and leveling structures in partnership with finance and leadership.
  • Design and operate lightweight performance management and feedback processes to reinforce company values.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations, partnering with external counsel as necessary.
  • Support the reinforcement of company culture through systems and behaviors.
  • Own People Ops systems and tooling (HRIS, payroll, performance tools).

Requirements

  • 8-10 years of experience in People Operations, HR, or related roles, ideally within a startup or high-growth company.
  • Broad HR generalist experience across compliance, payroll, benefits, performance management, immigration, recruiting, and employee engagement.
  • High judgment, discretion, and ability to operate independently.
  • Excellent relationship-builder with strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
  • Experience managing visa processes or partnering with immigration counsel preferred.
  • Organized, proactive, and comfortable juggling multiple priorities.
  • Bonus: holds general HR compliance and employment law certifications.
