Payroll Specialist - Remote Position

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Payroll Specialist to join our team remotely. As a Payroll Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the monthly payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant laws. This Payroll Specialist remote position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to our innovative team at Allgäu Milch Käse eG, a leading cooperative in the FoodTech industry.

What You'll Do

• Independently conduct monthly payroll processing and manage employee data.
• Maintain and administer personnel records and time management systems.
• Handle reporting and certification requirements with relevant authorities.
• Communicate effectively with health insurance providers, social security agencies, and government authorities.
• Prepare evaluations and statistics related to payroll.
• Support employees with payroll-related inquiries and concerns.
• Assist in payroll audits and compliance checks.
• Implement legal changes in payroll and social security regulations.

Requirements

• Completed commercial training with further education in payroll accounting.
• Several years of professional experience in payroll processing.
• Strong knowledge of payroll tax and social security laws.
• Proficient in common payroll software (e.g., Sage, Addison, DATEV).
• Good MS Office skills.
• Independent, structured, and meticulous work style.
• High level of trustworthiness and discretion.

Nice to Have

• Experience in project management related to payroll.
• Knowledge of additional HR functions.
