Payroll Manager - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We seek an experienced, detail-oriented Payroll Manager to join our team remotely. As a Payroll Manager, you will oversee all aspects of payroll processing, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely payments for our employees. You will collaborate with various departments to gather and validate payroll information, resolve discrepancies, and provide exceptional service to our employees.

What You'll Do

• Oversee end-to-end payroll processing, including salary calculations, deductions, and benefits administration.
• Collaborate with the human resources and finance departments to seamlessly integrate payroll and employee data.
• Manage payroll processing, including collecting, calculating, and inputting payroll data for all employees.
• Administer pension plan records, ensuring correct contributions and compliance with Dutch legislation.
• Manage group insurance schemes, liaising with insurers and processing claims.
• Ensure accuracy and compliance with applicable laws and company policies.
• Administer and maintain payroll systems, ensuring data integrity and implementing upgrades.
• Monitor and resolve payroll discrepancies, investigating issues promptly.
• Generate payroll reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Automate existing payroll processes to enhance efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, human resources, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in payroll management.
• In-depth knowledge of Dutch payroll processes, labor laws, and taxation.
• Experience in handling payroll audits and compliance assessments.
• Proficiency in payroll software, such as ADP.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in managing payroll data.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of payroll processes in other European countries.
• Experience with financial principles and reconciling payroll with financial records.
