About the Role

We are looking for a dedicated Patient Service Associate (Temp Remote) to join our Emergency Department team. As a Patient Service Associate, you will play a crucial role in accurately processing registrations and billing, while ensuring that overall patient flow and department operations run smoothly in a high-stress healthcare environment. What You'll Do

• Register and verify patient information accurately for Emergency Department attendances.
• Create and update patient records in hospital information systems.
• Manage admission, transfer, and discharge administrative processes.
• Coordinate and collaborate with the Emergency Department Operation Team, Clinicians, Nursing, and other departments to ensure smooth daily clinic operations.
• Assist in achieving excellent patient experience through effective communication and teamwork.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; experience in a healthcare setting is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in handling patient information.
• Experience with hospital information systems is preferred.
