About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Patient Care Coordinator - Remote to join our team. As a Patient Care Coordinator - Remote, you will work closely with patients to coordinate their care, manage appointments, and provide support throughout their healthcare journey.

What You'll Do

• Act as the primary point of contact for patients, addressing inquiries and providing information about services.
• Coordinate patient appointments and follow-ups, ensuring efficient scheduling and minimal wait times.
• Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems to maintain accurate patient information and documentation.
• Assist patients in navigating healthcare services, including referrals and insurance processes.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care and support.

Requirements

• 2-5 years of experience in a healthcare coordination role, preferably as a Patient Care Coordinator - Remote.
• Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with patients and healthcare professionals.
• Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite and EHR systems.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a remote environment.

Nice to Have

• Experience in behavioral health or mental health settings.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and medical scribing.
• Certification as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or similar qualification.
