Part-Time Receptionist - Remote Opportunity
About the Role
We are currently looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our Northampton team in the position of Part-Time Receptionist - Remote Opportunity. This role typically covers 5 hours a day, five days a week, offering flexibility and a chance to work in a dynamic environment.
What You'll Do
- Meet and greet all site visitors, ensuring their arrival is logged in the Visitors register and that they are issued with a visitors pass.
- Answer and redirect all incoming telephone calls, ensuring they are dealt with professionally and quickly.
- Maintain the Head Office internal telephone directory for all staff, keeping it up-to-date and circulated.
- Take receipt of all site deliveries, ensuring that only goods for employees at our site are signed for.
- Monitor stock levels of office consumables and place orders as necessary.
- Assist the Office Manager in ensuring kitchens, reception, and meeting rooms are kept clean and tidy.
- Raise and receipt purchase orders on the company JDE system and deal with any queries.
- Assist in managing the daily booking process for all meeting rooms.
- Reserve visitor parking spaces when requested.
- Monitor the procurement inbox and assess inquiries for relevance.
- Send out All Staff communications when requested.
- Perform general administration duties as required.
Requirements
- Good interpersonal skills and a willingness to help.
- Strong verbal communication skills, able to communicate at all levels.
- Able to cope under pressure and multitask effectively.
- Good IT skills, particularly in Word and Excel.
- Compliance with all aspects of the Forterra Compliance Policy and Health & Safety at Work Act 1974.
- Willingness to attend training and development courses as required.
Nice to Have
- Experience in a similar role is preferred.
- Knowledge of office management systems and procedures.
- Familiarity with the construction industry can be beneficial.
