Part-Time Legal Counsel - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Part-Time Legal Counsel to join Deutsche Glasfaser, a leading digital provider in the region. This remote position allows you to work flexibly while contributing to our mission of creating strong community connections. As a Legal Counsel, you will ensure that our contracts are legally sound and economically balanced, making a significant impact on our operations.

What You'll Do

• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, particularly procurement agreements, ensuring legal compliance and practicality.
• Manage legal correspondence, providing clear and structured communication to uphold the company's legal standing.
• Create templates and checklists to establish standards that enhance efficiency and mitigate legal risks.
• Design and conduct legal training sessions to enhance legal understanding across departments.
• Develop negotiation strategies in collaboration with various departments to align legal security with business interests.
• Prepare risk analyses and decision-making documents for management, facilitating informed business decisions.

Requirements

• Successfully completed Second State Examination in Law.
• Experience in the legal department of a commercial enterprise or a comparable corporate environment.
• In-depth knowledge of contract law and practical experience with procurement processes in a medium-sized company.
• Familiarity with construction law and VOB/B is a plus.
• Experience negotiating complex contracts with internal and external stakeholders, demonstrating a proactive approach.
• Ability to conduct structured risk analyses and create decision-relevant documents.
• Strong communication skills and confident negotiation abilities in interdisciplinary contexts.
• Excellent English language skills.

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of additional legal fields related to telecommunications.
• Experience in international contract negotiations.
