About the Role

Join our team as a Part-Time Assistant Store Manager at Lids Sports Group, the largest licensed sports retailer in North America. As a Part-Time Assistant Store Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving sales and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers.

What You'll Do

  • Generate sales by providing outstanding customer service and meeting company objectives.
  • Support the store manager in supervising associates and ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Assist in recruiting and training new store personnel on operational procedures.
  • Maintain store cleanliness and proper merchandising according to visual guidelines.
  • Control expenses by managing store inventory and preparing schedules within wage control guidelines.
  • Open and close the store as required, following operational procedures.
  • Participate in Lids training programs and provide feedback on associate performance.
  • Communicate effectively with employees at all levels of the company.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent with at least one year of relevant experience.
  • Proven ability to produce sales results while minimizing loss.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and clear verbal communication.
  • Ability to operate a computer and relevant software programs.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work on your feet for extended periods.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
