Paralegal - EU (Remote)

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Paralegal to join our team at Crypto.com, supporting our Group Commercial, Employment, and Litigation team based in Hong Kong and London. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Paralegal looking to work in the exciting world of cryptocurrencies and fintech. As a Paralegal - EU (Remote), you will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance and supporting our legal team in various matters.

What You'll Do

• Proactively support the legal team in drafting, processing, and reviewing legal documents.
• Maintain knowledge of legal frameworks and ensure compliance by reviewing business materials.
• Act as the primary legal contact for specific business teams, participating in meetings with attorneys and business leaders.
• Communicate and provide status updates to stakeholders on legal issues under the direction of an attorney.
• Self-manage and prioritize your work tasks while maintaining company tools and resources to improve efficiency.
• Build knowledge of Crypto.com businesses and provide recommendations to support various lines of business.
• Demonstrate accountability for achieving project goals and contribute to developing solutions that enable clients to achieve their objectives.
• Stay informed about emerging payments technology and the financial services industry.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in-house, at a government agency, or in a private practice law firm, with exposure to financial services or cryptocurrencies.
• Strong interest in fintech and emerging payments technology.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced international environment and manage change effectively.
• Outstanding written and oral communication skills, with the ability to work independently and in teams.
• Creative thinker with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle multiple assignments simultaneously.
• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) J.D. is preferred.

Nice to Have

• Prior working experience with crypto companies.
• General corporate management knowledge on EU/UK litigation, employment, and HR issues.
