Operations Officer - Remote Role for Youth Development

About the Role

We are seeking an Operations Officer to join The Duke of Edinburgh's Award (DofE) in a remote capacity. This role is pivotal in supporting young people to build self-belief and develop essential life skills. As an Operations Officer, you will manage relationships with partner organizations across Suffolk and Great Yarmouth, ensuring they deliver quality DofE programs to young people.

What You'll Do

• Manage relationships with Licensed Organisations (LOs) to ensure quality and inclusive DofE programs.
• Identify and develop new partnerships with educational and community organizations.
• Conduct regular meetings with stakeholders, both in-person and virtually.
• Work from home while maintaining effective communication with your team and partners.
• Support the mission of DofE by engaging with various stakeholders to widen access for marginalized youth.

Requirements

• Proven experience in operations or relationship management, ideally within youth development.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse stakeholders.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications and general computer literacy.
• A passion for youth development and the ability to inspire others.

Nice to Have

• Experience working with non-profit organizations.
• Knowledge of youth engagement strategies.
• Familiarity with safeguarding policies and practices.
