We are seeking an enthusiastic On Call Bartender to join our team at the Duquesne Club, the premier city club in Downtown Pittsburgh. As an On Call Bartender, you will have the opportunity to engage with a diverse group of members and guests while showcasing your bartending skills.

What You'll Do

  • Prepare drink requests according to Club standards, ensuring a high-quality experience for all members and guests.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, keeping it free of spills and organized.
  • Assist with stocking and setting up bars for events and daily operations.
  • Support inventory management and related duties to ensure smooth operations.
  • Stay informed about liquor laws and maintain compliance at all times.
  • Engage with members and guests in a friendly and professional manner, creating memorable experiences.
  • Demonstrate mobility and dexterity, including bending, stooping, and lifting items as needed.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to provide impeccable service to our members.

Requirements

  • Previous bartending experience is preferred but not required.
  • Knowledge of liquor, wine, and spirits.
  • RAMP certification is a plus.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility to work varying hours based on business needs.
  • Professional demeanor and a commitment to teamwork.

  • Experience in a high-volume bar or restaurant setting.
