.Net Engineer - Remote Opportunity with Relocation Support

About the Role

We are looking for a .Net Engineer to work in Lisbon who’s eager to embark on an exciting new opportunity! This .Net Engineer remote position offers a chance to design and develop high-quality software components while collaborating with a dynamic team.

What You'll Do

  • Design and develop high-quality, maintainable software components within the product ecosystem.
  • Collaborate closely with product owners, business analysts, and stakeholders to translate real-world challenges into digital solutions.
  • Contribute to architectural discussions and propose improvements that enhance performance, reliability, and maintainability.
  • Implement and maintain tests and participate in testing activities.
  • Review code, mentor peers, and uphold coding standards within the teams.
  • Contribute to release preparation, including technical documentation and deployment activities.
  • Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensure clear, reliable documentation to help users adopt the product.
  • Handle functional and technical service requests from business stakeholders, providing timely and effective support.

Requirements

  • At least 4 years of experience in similar roles.
  • Strong knowledge about .NET 8 and microservices.
  • Experience working with SQL Server, Oracle, RabbitMQ, NHibernate, Entity Framework.
  • Familiarity with Architecture & Patterns: Domain-Driven Design (DDD), Clean Architecture, Design Patterns.
  • Experience with Testing & CI/CD: xUnit / NUnit, Azure DevOps Pipelines.
  • Strong grasp of software design principles, clean coding practices, and architectural thinking.
  • Experience working with complex systems and maintaining large codebases over time.
  • Fluency in Portuguese and English; knowledge of either French or Dutch is a plus.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with cloud technologies.
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices.
