About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Mortgage Loan Processor II to join our team remotely. In this role, you will be responsible for managing loan files, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing exceptional customer service. As a Mortgage Loan Processor II, you will play a crucial role in facilitating the loan process for our clients.

What You'll Do

• Process mortgage loan applications and documentation efficiently.
• Communicate with clients and stakeholders to gather necessary information.
• Review loan files for accuracy and completeness.
• Ensure compliance with FHA, VA, and conventional loan guidelines.
• Utilize Encompass software to manage loan processing tasks.
• Provide support for problem resolution and customer inquiries.
• Collaborate with underwriters to facilitate smooth loan approvals.
• Maintain organized records and documentation for all loan files.

Requirements

• 2-5 years of experience in mortgage processing or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of FHA, VA, and conventional loan products.
• Proficiency in Encompass LOS and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
• Bilingual candidates are preferred.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Nice to Have

• Experience with DE underwriting.
• Knowledge of loan servicing processes.
• Familiarity with DU and consumer loans.
