About the Role

We are seeking a Mobile Engineering Manager to lead our design system initiatives in a fully remote environment. As a Mobile Engineering Manager - Design System, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our mobile applications, ensuring that they are user-friendly, efficient, and aligned with our business goals. You will lead a talented team of engineers and collaborate closely with product managers and designers to create seamless mobile experiences.

What You'll Do

• Oversee the development and implementation of mobile design systems across iOS and Android platforms.
• Lead and mentor a team of mobile engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and prioritize mobile features and enhancements.
• Utilize data analysis and A/B testing to inform design decisions and improve user engagement.
• Manage project timelines and deliverables, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Implement best practices in mobile architecture and software engineering to enhance performance and scalability.
• Drive the adoption of agile methodologies within the mobile engineering team.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in mobile development, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Strong proficiency in React Native, iOS, and Android development.
• Experience with design systems and mobile UI/UX best practices.
• Proven track record in managing engineering teams and delivering high-quality mobile applications.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Familiarity with data analytics tools and methodologies.
• Experience with agile project management methodologies.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Flutter development.
• Knowledge of machine learning and AI workflows.
• Background in data science or analytics.
