Middle General QA Engineer - Remote
About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Middle General QA Engineer - Remote to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our software products through comprehensive testing strategies. What You'll Do
- Design and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for web and API applications.
- Perform manual and automated testing to identify defects and ensure product quality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and provide feedback on product functionality.
- Utilize tools such as Jira for tracking bugs and managing testing processes.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Conduct regression testing and ensure that new features do not disrupt existing functionality.
- Document testing processes and results, providing clear reports to stakeholders.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in QA and testing methodologies.
Requirements
- 2-5 years of experience in QA engineering, preferably in a remote setting.
- Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, including manual and automated testing.
- Experience with web UI testing and API testing.
- Proficiency in SQL for database testing.
- Familiarity with CI/CD processes and tools.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a remote team.
- Experience with Python, Java, or TypeScript is a plus.
- Understanding of UX/UI principles and their impact on testing.
